Who We Are

Some activities have an unavoidable carbon footprint.

The aim of OO is to help businesses and individuals offset these CO2 emissions by planting trees in their locality.

Oak Offset is 'not-for-profit'. It is all about the trees.

Starting in Stockleigh English, Mid-Devon, we are planting hedgerow trees, miniture forests, and areas of new woodland.

As we expand we are working with landowners to improve our environment with more trees.

Biodiversity

The English Oak supports more species than any other UK tree, and thrive along side all other native species.

Water

Trees reduce surface water runoff and erosion. An oak can absorb 300 litres of water each day, filtering and evaporating, and locking up CO2.

Air

Oak trees absorb carbon and release oxygen through photosynthesis. Trees also remove particulate pollution in urban environments.
